Local Wakefield Honey from ABLE
Honey production at ABLE goes from strength to strength. Our hives have doubled over the last year which is great news for our honey production and for the biodiversity onsite too.
The honey is sealed in the combs by the bees, then Mick and Genie, our two resident honey experts remove the frames from the hives to extract the amber nectar. The team uncap the wax sealed frames and then use centrifugal force to spin the honey out to drain into jars. All production is completed onsite.
