Produce
ABLE is a unique social enterprise that produces high quality, chemical-free local food.
At ABLE, we grow local food for community cafes and social enterprises in the area. We regularly sell our produce at local farmers markets and also sell 'veggie boxes' to people in the local area.
ABLE is also a CEFAS approved fish farm and produces fish in a unique closed-loop system. The system saves water and produces a salad crop from the waste fish water using a system called aquaponics.
The site produces:
- Honey
- Tilapia, Catfish, Sturgeon and Koi Carp
- Fruit from our orchard
- Seasonal vegetables
- Salad vegetables and herbs.
