12 Week Programme with Optional ASDAN Accreditation

Small groups based within mainstream education or from external provision can attend ABLE and work through a 12 week programme geared towards achieving ASDAN accreditation.

Choose between a range of Asdan Activity programmes including Skills for Aquaculture, Introduction to Wildlife and Farm Skills or work with ABLE to develop an award suitable to your groups particular interests. Alternatively work can simply be geared towards an increase in self-esteem and group cohesion.

Typical programmes last for 12 weeks and result in a 60 credit award, but these can be increased or decreased to meet group/individual needs.

Who benefits from accredited training at ABLE?

In many cases, groups with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) or Special Educational Needs thrive at ABLE and see a big improvement in self-confidence and aspiration.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) groups in mainstream schools also find a great deal on site to get stuck into for a 12 week project!
